Delicate Things and A Place Called There
Adulphina Imuede x Ashiata Shaibu-salami
September 13th – October 12th, 2025
Wunika Mukan Gallery & A Thing For Art Presents: “Delicate Things and A Place Called There“ A Duo Exhibition by Adulphina Imuede and Ashiata Shaibu-Salami.
Delicate things and A Place Called There offers a tender yet resolute meditation on growth, memory, and the fragile pause before expansion takes form.

Echoes in Every Chair
Damola Adewole
27th July – 27th August 2025
This salon explores themes of memory, absence, and expectation through carefully detailed landscapes and artfully composed portraits of Black individuals. Each painting includes symbolic elements, embedded stories and nostalgic registers representing places we no longer have, loved ones who are no longer present, or hopes not yet realized.

Lost in thought
Hope Monday
27th July – 27th August 2025
The theme of Hope’s salon is centered around how socio-economic forces on the continent push emerging African artists to paint a certain way to get seen, appreciated and collected. This theme resonates with the mission at ATFA— to give varying types of artistic talent a platform.

Back To School
Sheriff Feyisitan
January 2025
This salon was a reflection on the rigid structure of the education system and how it almost suffocated Sheriff’s dreams and aspirations. The salon invited us to consider how the current educational system might shape or limit the possibilities of it’s students.

Residencies
ATFA VIRTUAL RESIDENCY
2025
A thing for Art passionately supports the development of African artists beyond just collecting their works. A core aspect of our work is discovering promising talent, and granting them resources to develop their techniques and skill.

ATFA PRODUCT RESIDENCY
2025
Beyond the development and distribution of African art, our mission at ATFA also includes building systems for the discovery and development of local products and industrial designs. We’re giving creatives the opportunity to dream and build without the limitation of tight finances.

Let us enrich your business spaces with beauty & depth
Business spaces with high foot traffic and bare walls have the opportunity to display art works from our roster of talented African artists.
